These words are the first thing that hit my ears this morning was the audio with this video. I was catching up on PLURK. Within a plurk by Miss Attitude asking for inspiration was this video. Topsurf had shared the famous "I HAVE A DREAM" speech by Martin Luther King Jr. in 1963.
I encourage you to take in these words as we are on the thresh hold of a new day in American history.

  1. BaaaaAAAAA R ~ O ~ C ~ K in the USA!

I didn't count Jan 1 as the New Year, I count tomorrow as the New Year, a fresh beginning for our country. I know our new President will have a lot of tough work ahead of him, but I feel hopeful & excited that from now on things will start to look up, & then get better, & better & better. I'm proud to be an American & I'm confindent President Obama will make our country feel good again.

  2. AMEN Dr King! We have come so far, let's hope we can continue to progress and pick up the pace of change. I look forward to the day when the constitution is FOLLOWED. ALL men are created equal and have the right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

  3. I get chills every time I think about how exciting it is to be living RIGHT NOW, while history is being made.

  4. woo-hoo! Who could ask for anything more??? TOMORROW IS THE DAY!! We are all so ready!! BRING IT OBAMA!! Your nation waits for you! Great post!

  5. Love the speech! I also posted the speech. Makes me cry every time.

Say what!?
